The Sacramento State Men’s Rowing Club offers highly motivated student athletes a chance to compete in one of the highest levels of collegiate competition, the American Collegiate Rowing Association National Championships. With a long, storied tradition of excellence, the Sac State Men’s Rowing Club has won numerous regional titles in rowing’s premier event, the Varsity 8. The club has also won several other Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association titles over its 30+ year history, and has a deep and committed Alumni base of several hundred former rowing and coxswains to support the current and future rowers. While winning is a core goal, the programs also prides itself on being a transformational, life-long skills builder where academic success is emphasized and student athletes establish and cement bonds with fellow crew mates for life. The club is a proud member of our outstanding Sports Club Department and trains at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center, one of the finest rowing facilities in the US. No experience is necessary to join, only a passion to be academically successful and to learn to row and train “as one.”
