Sac State Women's Crew

Sac State Women’s Crew

Overview

The Sacramento State women’s rowing program gained intercollegiate status at Sacramento State in 1995, and since that time has accounted for six conference championships.  Rowing at Sacramento State provides female athletes with any rowing experience a rare opportunity to become a member of a varsity, NCAA Division 1 team.

Women’s Rowing is a varsity intercollegiate sport at Sacramento State. All Sacramento State female students who are enrolled in 12 or more units are invited to join the team. Prior experience is not necessary; most women rowers learn how to row in college. Scholarships are available. The team practices and competes in both the fall and spring semesters. Come join the women’s rowing team. This ultimate sport could change your entire college experience. We recommend to all incoming freshmen to apply to the NCAA clearing house as their first step to becoming a student athlete. Feel free to contact us through our website and send us your profile.
